The Wantok Farmers Network (WFN) is a platform established to connect, support, and empower local farmers by creating stronger links between communities, markets, and opportunities. The network aims to provide farmers with access to shared knowledge, practical resources, and support systems that can help improve productivity, sustainability, and income generation.
Through WFN, farmers are encouraged to work together, share experiences, and participate in initiatives that strengthen local agriculture and food security. The network also serves as a channel for communication, training opportunities, and partnerships that benefit farmers across different provinces.
The WFN network also seeks partnerships with the PNG government and donor partners to deliver capacity-building programmes, while introducing access to financial services solutions—supporting farmers’ health, financial wellbeing, and long-term resilience.
We are currently working to sign up members across Central, Morobe, and East New Britain Provinces. Your support in engaging farmers and promoting WFN using the attached flyers will play a key role in growing the network and ensuring more farmers benefit from this initiative.
